Boots does not represent that any product referred to in the materials on this website is appropriate for use, or available, in other locations. Those who choose to access this site from other locations are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent local laws are applicable. In accordance with UK legislation you must be at least 16 years of age to sign up for a bootsopticiansdirect.com account.
Any contract between us, whether for use of the site or in relation to the purchase of products or services through the site will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and all parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Acceptance of orders
Working with industry-leading secure payment processors, we validate your order and the payment details you submit to us before your order can be accepted. Once that has been done, we will acknowledge that your order has been received by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address you provide in your registration form.
Your order is then subject to further validation checks we may choose to make. If your order passes our validation checks we will send you an order confirmation email, this is our acceptance of your order and it brings into existence a legally binding agreement between us.
Boots reserves the right to restrict the number of items available for sale to any individual customer. All orders are subject to availability. If any items are not available and you paid using a debit/credit card you will not be charged for the cancelled items.
We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards. Payment will be debited from your account prior to despatch of your purchase. For customers using the subscription service, payment will be taken in advance of each despatch.
Boots Advantage Card points cannot be earned with purchases from bootsopticiansdirect.com, nor can Advantage Card points be redeemed on bootsopticiansdirect.com.
All orders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. We may submit your order to a third party fraud screening provider who securely review orders on behalf of bootsopticiansdirect.com to eliminate fraud and safeguard our customers’ transactions. Orders can only be delivered to UK addresses, Channel Islands and BFPO addresses.
Price information
bootsopticiansdirect.com has taken great care to ensure prices are accurate. Prices may change over time. All prices include VAT. Promotions and prices you see in Boots Opticians high street stores do not always apply to bootsopticiansdirect.com, and vice versa.
Data Protection
To enable Boots to provide you with this service and to give you the best and most appropriate care and advice, we will collect your personal data such as your name, address and date of birth; we also collect your more sensitive personal data regarding your health for the purposes of ensuring the service we provide is appropriate for you.
Your personal data will be stored for a minimum period of retention of 10 years for adults or until 25th birthday or 26th if young person was 17 years at time of purchase or 8 years after patient’s death if death occurred before 18th birthday.
We may share your personal information such as your name and address across Boots services and with other companies that provide services on our behalf such as Indigo Lighthouse Group Limited and its affiliated companies, but we assure you, Boots will never sell your personal data. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and keeping your personal data safe and secure is our top priority.

Returns
You can return any unwanted contact lenses (unopened and sealed) within 30 days of delivery. Upon receipt of the returned item, we will issue a refund within 10 days. Any contact lenses which have been opened and unsealed can not be returned. Include the dispatch note. Circle the Return Address and write "RTS" on the packaging. Securely place package in a Royal Mail post box. This does not affect your statutory rights.
